The Second season of FFS INDIA i.e., FFS INDIA 2018 was an extension of FFS INDIA 2017 organized by Fraternity of Mechanical and Automotive Engineers at Kari Motor Speedway and Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore. The static activities of FFS INDIA 2018 were conducted at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore. The association with Kumaraguru College of Technology was made to provide better infrastructure for the static activities and ease of access to event site for the participating teams.

The event as launched in October 2017 and got great response from different national and international teams. A total of 61 teams registered for the second season including one team from Bangladesh for competing in the final event at Coimbatore. After completing the documents and report submissions, a total of 36 teams make it to the final event. Total 24 teams presented their cars at the final event where the teams had a great interaction with judges from different automotive companies and OEMs. The teams got all useful and valuable feedbacks from the judges and learned more about the optimizations they can do on their cars.

A total of 14 teams were able to clear the mechanical and electrical scrutiny and appeared for the brake test. Out of which only 8 teams were able to qualify the brake test. The endurance run was completed by only 4 teams. Based on the overall marks secured by the teams in various static and dynamic activities, Team Screwdrivers from Dhole Patil College of Engineering emerged as the overall winner of the second season of FFS INDIA and Team Baagh from Knowledge institute of Technology as overall runner up.
